Matter is all around you. Matter is anything made up of atoms and molecules. Air, computers, and even water is a type of matter. Solids are objects that have no energy to stay in the same place. The atoms of a solid do not move. Liquids are formed when temperature rises and it has more energy. The atoms of a liquid have more space than solids. Liquids have no define shape, but if you put liquid in a jar, it forms the shape of the jar. Gasses are everywhere, even though the have no shape. A gas is formed when liquid is heated and when it has a lot of energy. The atoms of a gas are more free, because the atoms get smaller when heated.
